A UWE Team Entrepreneurship team company

WE BUILDWHAT'S NEXT

Zenith is a team of 14 student entrepreneurs at UWE Bristol. We run our own businesses, work on real projects with clients and charities, and help each other get further than we would alone.

Who we are

Mission

To achieve our exit strategy by evaluating our progress, seeking and sharing opportunities, using course resources, gaining experience, giving honest feedback and building strong relationships.

Vision

For every member of Zenith to exceed their personal ambitions because they have the confidence, skills and relationships to fulfil them.

01

Ambition

We set targets that stretch us and measure ourselves against last year.

02

Work ethic

We put the hours in, in sessions and on our own ventures.

03

Reliability

If we say we will do it, it gets done, on time.

04

Supportive

We share opportunities and give honest feedback so everyone moves forward.

05

Alignment

Team goals and personal goals pull in the same direction.

What we offer

01

Ventures you can work with

Our members run real businesses, from software for sales teams and estate agents to event consultancy and supplements. If you need a product or service, one of us probably builds it.

02

Client and charity projects

We take on projects with organisations, such as our corporate partnership work with CEDA in Exeter, and deliver them as a team with clear goals and reporting.

03

Workshops and events

We run workshops, networking events and community events for the TE community and beyond, and every event is rated so we keep improving.

04

Fresh eyes on your business

We test ideas quickly, talk to customers and report back honestly, which is useful if you want a new perspective on a problem.

Projects this year

Partnership01

CEDA corporate partnerships

A 90 day pilot with CEDA, a disability charity in Exeter, approaching local employers to build corporate partnerships, starting with a five-runner Great West Run team.

Key learning

Charity partnerships need a clear benefit for the employer, not just the cause.

Client project02

Client project with Praxis

Two of our members are running a client project alongside the Praxis team company this year.

Key learning

Working across teams means agreeing roles and deadlines in writing at the start.

Business development03

B2B customer acquisition

Every venture owner has a customer target for 1 May 2027, tracked weekly, so the team can see exactly where each business is.

Key learning

Tracking real numbers every week beats estimating at the end of the year.

Sustainability04

Quality education (SDG 4.4)

Our ventures track and reduce their environmental footprint, and we measure the impact of our projects against UN Sustainable Development Goal 4.4.

Key learning

Impact only counts if you can measure it, so we use a Theory of Change.

Community05

Events for the TE community

Workshops, a Christmas dinner, the TE Awards Night and a Learning Journey, each rated by the people who attend.

Key learning

Asking for a rating after every event shows us what people actually value.
